
Bailey Bartee is Managing Director at Vine & Branch Capital. He was formerly a Senior Vice President – Investment Officer at Wells Fargo Advisors and has more than 21 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Bailey has passed the rigorous qualifications to carry the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. As a CFP® professional, he helps analyze every aspect of his clients’ financial lives, including assets, liabilities and cash flow, current insurance coverages, and investment and tax strategies. He executes approved plans designed to help achieve well-defined objectives, including meeting to review progress toward financial goals and making necessary adjustments to his recommendations.
Bailey is also among a very select group of Wells Fargo Advisors’ 16,000 financial professionals who meet the stringent standards required to serve as Private Investment Management (PIM) Portfolio Managers. Additionally, he was designated in 2013 as one of the firm’s Platinum Council members.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Bailey served for nine years in the U.S. Army National Guard. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom II, where he served as a battery commander. Through his military service, he held various staff and leadership positions and achieved the rank of captain before being honorably discharged.
Bailey holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Wofford College and an MBA from the McColl School of Business of Queens University. He completed the CFP® Program at Queens University and has passed the CFP® exam. Bailey is also a member of the Financial Planning Association of Charlotte.
He is a past Master of Masons and a lifetime member of Alpine Lodge No. 208 in Clover, South Carolina. He is also a Noble Shriner with the Hejaz Shrine Temple of Greenville, South Carolina, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a perpetual member of the Scottish Rite in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Bailey achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and is a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
Bailey is a member of Southpark United Methodist Church in Charlotte and serves on the Endowment Committee. He and his wife, Brandi, have three children.
